Not literally, it's a figure of speech. They're only dangerous if they choose to be or if they lose control of themselves, but the ones I know are fairly practiced at control. So no, I'm not one, if that's where your question was going?

Are you? I saw one once—well, sort of, long story, but I've never actually met a banshee before. I don't think the ones where I'm from spend a lot of time doing things like saving towns from supernatural whatsits.
